I believe that our purpose in life is to have joy. Nothing more, nothing less. To some this may sound a bit shallow, but they just want their own statue for their suffering, offers and hard work.
This morning my believe was confirmed by The Fun Theory. I was reading a blog entry on the game theory for enterprise 2.0 adaption, and the last part of this entry caught my attention. It shows a video where it is shown that the behavior of people can be changed by making things more fun. In this case using the stairs instead of the escalator.
A couple of days ago I read the daily quote from Abraham-Hicks and it got stuck in my head for the days that followed. It was the following quote:
As you diminish contrast, you diminish your ability to decide, and as you diminish your ability to decide, you diminish your ability to focus, and as you diminish your ability to focus, you do away with your reason for existing.
An amazing fragment (via Abundance and Prosperity) of Jim Carrey speaking at the 2009 Inaugural GATE Event (Global Alliance for Transformational Entertainment). Especially the part when he describes his moment when he ‘understood it all’. Furthermore, he describes accurately that alignment is not a scholar degree. It is more like riding the waves; sometimes you are on, other times you are off. But you innately want to be on, were all feels good. Enjoy.
Today I was notified by a dear friend that Jerry and Esther Hicks entered the Blogosphere with their Law of Attraction BLOG. They published their first blog post on March 9, 2010, and I am sure this is the first of many. It appears it is the answer to a certain calling. Ask and it is Give 2.0.
“We have said from the beginning of our work with Abraham, that this is about “their” work, not about us. But the blogosphere is calling, so here we are.”
Jerry and Esther, welcome to the ever expanding internet. :-)
For some time now, I have been reading the books of Abraham-Hicks and listening to the workshops. The teachings – I am still not sure if this word describes it correctly – resonate with me on a level I have never experienced before. The clarity and intensity of the ‘answers’ are a perfect vibrational match to the questions I have asked. I feel that I have a solid basis of understanding this attraction-based Universe we live in, and would like to share this with you. Read the rest of this entry »
We tend to get caught in justifying why we feel the way we feel, especially when we feel not so good. Why is that? Well, you could take the perspective of Source, your Inner-Being. When you feel not so good, you are not fully aligned with Source and the gap, which results in the emotions (your inner guidance system) you feel telling you to take the next possible exit towards your destination which is feeling good.
It has been a while since my last post. I was not inspired to write, and forcing myself into it was not an option. First inspiration and the aligned action will follow as the next logical step. Read the rest of this entry »
Once we decide to enter the physical realm as an extension from the non-physical, we learn the emotion of grief. We humans link this emotion mostly to death. Our parents teach us from day one that this time and space reality we have entered is full of danger. “Don’t do that, it will kill you!” is a common message that socialized human beings give to the newly entered.
Inspiration has many sources. One of them is music, which for me is the most vivid external vibration we interpret with our physical body. Lyrics are not that important to me, as I find myself feeling the music mostly, but sometimes the lyrics of a song does catch my attention. One of those songs is Innervision from the band System of a Down. Just to make sure there are no suprises, it is a Metal band.
There is no such thing as our past as there is no future. There is only the presence, the current moment, the Now! Every experience that reminds you of your past is actually a thought, a feeling, that you activate in the moment. If this happens often you tend to live in the past. You let your current experience be dominated by your past, which can be quite upstream so to speak. We are so conditioned by past experiences which are activated again and again in the current moment that we can get stuck. But how do you get out of it?
