There is no such thing as our past as there is no future. There is only the presence, the current moment, the Now! Every experience that reminds you of your past is actually a thought, a feeling, that you activate in the moment. If this happens often you tend to live in the past. You let your current experience be dominated by your past, which can be quite upstream so to speak. We are so conditioned by past experiences which are activated again and again in the current moment that we can get stuck. But how do you get out of it?
The Mayan societies marked December 21, 2012 on their calendar. Since we are getting closer to 2012 the interpretations and predictions seem to be very popular, which vary from moving into the next dimension to an apocalypse which will result in the end of the world as we know it. There are even stories describing the world being sucked into a massive black hole!
Tonight I was giving our rabbit a fresh bowl of food. As always he was very exciting and started to eat the good stuff out of the abundance of choices that is in his high quality food. The buffet of life’s choices in a small bowl and the rabbit had absolutely no moment of doubt in his mind to first choose the good stuff and leave the less good bits for later. And every time he leaves some of the choices untouched. They must taste awfull…
After many years of not feeling good, it can be a bit awkward to choose for yourself to feel a little better, and a little better, and again a little better, and so on. You might feel a bit anxious and wonder what the people close to you might be thinking. Even feelings of shame can serve as an excuse to hold you back from the first steps towards feeling better. If this is the case, but also if not, just watch the following incredible fragment from the Sashquatch musical festival in 2009:
Science (from the Latin scientia, meaning “knowledge”) refers to any systematic knowledge-base or prescriptive practice that is capable of resulting in a prediction or predictable type of outcome.
We humans love the evidence of manifestation. We actually have the attitude that we are dependent on it. Without the evidence, and more precise scientific evidence, we can not believe that any manifestation has taken place. If you really think about this, you will discover that this is a very upstream thought or believe.
When I drive home from work, I listen to Abraham-Hicks. For the last couple of weeks this has become a ritual turning a journey of bordom into an inspirational deepdive in the Law of Attraction. I get so inspired in the morning that the results turn up in the course of the day. The speed in which manifestation takes place can be rather overwhelming, but my appreciation for all that is makes this a downstream thought.
Today I heard Abraham speak about the beasts of our planet. It was in response to a question from a veterinarian. And allthough I can not reproduce the exact wording, the feeling of appreciation for the animals on earth was so empowering that I had a really great encounter with a bird in our garden.
I am having a Step 1 experience about the endless attempts of people trying to monetize the Law of Attraction. I do not have anything against the fact that people want to share the empowerment it brings and inspire others to regain control of their own life. But I feel the contrast when I open the websites which advertize some book, cd, dvd or any combination of these items. They all look the same, use the same structure, the same buildup in text. Introduction, the amazing results one can expect, the incredible one time offer this is, and off course the testimonials.
Contrast in our lives causes us to ask what me want. If we are sick, we want more wellness. If we are broke, we want more money. If our relationships end, we want a better relationship. And so on, and so on. And when we hit such a contrast in our lives, generally speaking, it feels bad. On the emotional scale we end up in the bottom half and we start to justify the way we feel with arguments related to what we do not want. And in this process we put more attention to what do not want resulting in more dissapointment and we glue ourselves to feeling bad.
Appreciation increases your vibration because it is a positive emotion which will turn you downstream on the river of life energy. It’s good to train yourself back into appreciation, which will feel empowering to take back the joyful control of your life.
The last week I have been listening to Law of Attraction workshops while driving to and from work. And the result is already incredible. Since a long time I feel inspired again. I am more relaxed, have much more fun at and with my work. I connected to many customers in a way I could not have done a couple of weeks ago.
