Day 9 of my 30 days challenge. Well it’s actually still day 8, but as I lost days…oh well, who cares about the days? I’ve made the choice, so it’s my responsibility. If I don’t, well they say Karma is a bitch. But is it? I believe it is, but limited to this lifetime and only to yourself. You make choices, a lot of them, day in day out. And every choice is your choice, so it’s your responsibility. I can already hear you say but, they made me… stop it! » Read the rest of this entry «
I woke up this morning, deliberately focused my thoughts and smiled. And you know what…
I’m still smiling!
Day 8 of my 30 days challenge and today I want to give you the following advice:
Drink more water!
It doesn’t get any more complicated then this. You cannot go wrong with water. Just try to drink more water for a couple of days, and feel it. It’s that simple.
Day 7 of my 30 days challenge. It has been over a week ago that I started writing these short blog posts, and I have to admit that I like it. It challenged me everyday, even during the days I lost a day. The promise to myself to write everyday takes me somewhat out of my comfort zone. For me, it is not so much about the content but more about the commitment to myself to actually do it. And doing it makes me proud.
I often use the quote “You learn by experience and you teach by example.”. Both experiencing and teaching are verbs and thus require action. Without doing it, there’s no way you can experience it. And without experiencing it, you cannot teach others how to do it.
So, if there is something you want to do, and in the core of your being it feels right, just do it and be the example for others.
Do you have a story to tell? Of course you do! The journey you are on is your story to share with anyone who is willing to listen and be inspired by it. Don’t regret a single step you’ve taken as it has made you who you are today and don’t stop now. Keep writing your story.
Enjoy your journey! Thanks to Asha Tyson.
In our quest for the perfect live we tend to forget how awesome we really are.
Don’t try to be perfect, be pure.
Day 6 of my 30 days challenge. It seems that my days do not follow nature’s rhythm. According to her this would be day 8, so I lost two days somewhere.
Time is an interesting concept. It supposed to be a linear thing, but it is often perceived as a variable. Something that can bend. Time flies when we’re having fun, and it seems forever while in the waiting room of the dentist, knowing that you’re next…
Once we’re born into our physical body time is perceived as a limiting factor. We age over time. We don’t have enough time to do all the things we want to do. We work most of the time, leaving little to really enjoy ourselves.
As a result we perceive the pressure of time, which helps us to focus. Focus on what we don’t want abd therefore on what we do want. It makes us more specific in our choices. It challenges us to makes choices preventing us to wander around lost in time.
Time can be your enemy and your friend. You can make that choice by controlling your perception. Choose wisely.
