Where is the evidence!?

June 13th, 2009 § 3 comments

Science (from the Latin scientia, meaning “knowledge”) refers to any systematic knowledge-base or prescriptive practice that is capable of resulting in a prediction or predictable type of outcome.

We humans love the evidence of manifestation. We actually have the attitude that we are dependent on it. Without the evidence, and more precise scientific evidence, we can not believe that any manifestation has taken place. If you really think about this, you will discover that this is a very upstream thought or believe.

Does this make science a bad thing? No. Not at all. But it is important that we appreciate science for what it is, and change our attitude towards evidence of manifestions. If you stick to the believe that we first want to see the manifestation before we believe in it, we limit ourselves in the empowerment that we can achieve.

If you ask, it is given. It is vibrationally manifested in your non-physical. Read this interesting article about it who summarizes it from a quantum scientific perspective in a very condensed way, but easy to follow. But again, this article is all about evidence. With your current senses you can not translate the micro-level of vibrations you are influencing with your thoughts. And does it really matter? I believe someone only tries to proof it scientifically if he or she is unable to develop a believe for it. And the believe in the Law of Attraction, also defined as ‘the knowing’, is what really results in the manifestation of it.

I tend to look at science in the following way: Science has contributed to the expansion of our vibrational escrow and provided us with many things like luxury and the ability to extend our lives. We should embrace it and appreciate it fully. But don’t hold on to the believe you have to see the evidence first before there is any manifestion. You will keep running in circles of asking but not allowing. Let go of the resistance this believe puts into your vibration. It’s fun, exciting and very, very joyfull!

Great post Patrick! I used to search for Knowledge a long time ago, now I just look to Know-less ;-)

500 years ago, we all believed the Sun to evolve around the Earth, and the Earth to be flat. While this was a belief and not a proven fact, we still held it to be true. Fortunately, the Earth nor the Sun cared much about that and just continued to do what they do best
Of course that was fed by the religious institutions, and it confused science with faith just like in your example faith is confused with science

Faith or belief are very strong, but you have to obey the law of physics: you can't simply believe that you can move the Eiffel tower and think you will. But a lot of things are possible, and not being able to prove them shouldn't keep you from believing them indeed

Thanks for you comments Martijn. I used to be very 'science' minded. Causality, random, influence, etc. And without strong evidence I questioned everything.
But now I am more in touch with my feelings. If someone would have told me this couple of years ago I would have laughed at them. But in my current state of being I have more confidence of my own strength and power. I still see the evidence of it, but that's a result of not a prerequisite to believe.

What's this?
